UKE Magazine Issue 32 - Riffs - C Major Backing Track

In the Riffs article in UKE Magazine Issue 32, it was mentioned that a good way to start coming up with riffs is experimentation, using scales, and a backing track. Use some notes from the scale in a repeated pattern, with the backing track in place so you can hear how it would sound when you’re joined by other musicians.

As mentioned in the Riffs article in Issue 32 of UKE Magazine, here is a recording of an early performance by Ukes Akimbo, the ukulele group in Brampton, Cumbria. They are using Andy Webster’s arrangement of Chasing Cars, by Snow Patrol - with the group playing the riff together at the beginning.

aNueNue Colour Series - Tenor Ukuleles - Coming in 2022

Coming to the UK in Quarter 3 of 2022 is aNueNue’s great value, solid top colour series ukuleles, now in tenor size.

A small number will be available in Europe in 2022, with the majority of those heading to World of Ukes. These are great value instruments, coming in at under £200, with a nice gig bag too.
